Fortnite is a co-op sandbox survival video game developed by Epic Games and People Can Fly and published by Epic Games. It has three modes: Save the World, Battle Royale and Fortnite Creative.
Game information[]
Battle Royale mode can have 100 players in one map, either divided into single or four man teams and the only way to win is to be the last man or team standing. Similar to PUBG, players are dropped from a plane and parachute to a location on the map. They must scavenge for weapons to kill other players, armour for protection and resources to build structures. A storm builds over time and shrinks the area down. When the safe area has shrunk and moved elsewhere on the map, players must head to the new area shown before they take damage and die.
Two special events occurred in game for a limited time featuring two new character skins: Tomato Man and Thanos.
Series background[]
Jack began playing the Battle Royale mode and deemed it to be the new Player Unknown's Battlegrounds. Despite making fourteen separate videos for the game, he also played it during his February, May, June and August 2018 charity streams.
In his January 2019 charity live stream, Jack revealed that he had stopped playing Fortnite since he deemed himself not good at it and had not played in a while due to touring.
