Henry is the name given to Lifepod 5 in Jacksepticeye's series on Subnautica.

While he is technically present from the first episode of Subnautica, Jack only names them "Henry" in episode 3 and begins to anthropomorphize Henry as early as episode 2.

Contents

Lifepod 5 comes with a Fabricator, Storage Module, Medical Kit Fabricator and Radio.

Seeing as Jack started his series relatively early on in Subnautica's development, Henry also contained a Fragment Analyzer for a time before that was removed from the game.

Notes

• In episode 2, 'What The F**k Are Those!?' Jack talks about Henry writing poetry, it is unknown if this character trait is still relevant.
• In episode 9, 'Island Base' Jack mentions having to have told Henry to stop drinking, implying that Henry once did have a problem with alcohol.
• In episode 10, 'My Own Bat Cave!' Jack states that Henry "wants to be Irish".

Trivia

• Henry is named as such due to a visual similarity to Henry the Hoover.
• The first ever name that Jack used to refer to Lifepod 5 was "Mr. Bobberooney", due to the way Lifepod 5 bobs up and down in the water.
• Henry was named by the Jacksepticeye audience, with Jack asking for name suggestions in Episode 2 and choosing in Episode 3.
  • One of the suggested names for Lifepod 5 was "Lifepod Larry". Jack rejected this name because "Larry" was already a character in Happy Wheels, and because the name Larry "wasn't cute enough".
