Jorgi Costava, otherwise nicknamed as Little Potato Man, is a character from the game Papers, Please.

Profile

He appears as a scruffy looking man wearing a red shirt and having a bushy beard. He speaks Arstotzkan and his real name is Jorji Costava as revealed by his passport, however Jack was obsessed with calling him "Potato Man" in the original series.

Personality

Jorji, or 'Little Potato Man', can be manipulative towards the player, wanting to pass border control with fake passports. After several attempts to get by and failing, Jack finally accepts his passport with all the correct documents, striking up a friendship between him and Jorji in the process.

Video appearances

He appeared throughout the Papers, Please series and his death was animated in Jacksepticeye Animated | DETAINED! (Papers, Please). This animated death also appeared in the song All the Way.

Jorji made an appearance in the fan game The Boss blocking access to Jack's bedroom. He parodies Papers, Please by asking Jack for documents in order to pass through.

He reappeared a second time as Jack replayed Papers, Please in June 2019. In this playthrough, Jorji succeeds by being allowed to enter. In the final day, he became persistent in helping Jack by giving away his passport despite him receiving a citation.

Trivia

• Jorji made a brief live action appearance in PAPERS, PLEASE - The Short Film (6:11 - 6:15).
• Despite previous claims, Jorji never actually died in any of the playthroughs. The confusion is likely to have come from the fictional death in the animated video and instead refers to a totally separate shooting of a terrorist.
