Maria is the name given by Jacksepticeye to his Cyclops Submarine in the game Subnautica. She is first built and named in episode 3 of the Subnautica original series.

George and Simon were the names given by Jack to the deep voice that reads off notifications, warnings, and alerts inside the Cyclops Submarine in the original series. The names never stuck due to their under-use, and now it is widely accepted that the deep voice inside the Cyclops is the voice of the Cyclops itself, and therefore Maria.

- Jack contemplates the names "Submarine Sam" and "Submarine Steve" before settling on Maria.
- In Subnautica Episode 4 (Original Series) Jack mentions how people suggested he change Maria's name to "The Bossmarine", however, Jack chose to stick with Maria.
- Before the addition of the engine efficiency module, Jack was becoming increasingly frustrated with Maria due to her power consumption.
- The name "Maria" is derived from the word "marine" as in "submarine". Jack has commonly stated that Maria's full name is SubMaria.
