–Steam description

Overview[]

Party Hard 2 is a stealth strategy video game developed by Pinokl Games and Kverta, and published by tinyBuild. It is the sequel to the original Party Hard game. The player once again takes on the role of a vigilante killer, crashing loud parties with extreme methods to restore peace and quiet.

The game features an over-the-top storyline involving a pharmaceutical conspiracy, alien intervention, and psychological breakdowns—all told through stylized flashbacks and interrogation scenes.

Gameplay[]

Party Hard 2 retains the core gameplay of the original: eliminate all partygoers at a venue without getting caught. However, the sequel adds:

  • **3D graphics** with a new isometric camera
  • **Party Vision** – highlights traps and interactive objects
  • **Multi-Kill** – an ability to eliminate several enemies at once
  • **Crafting system** – combine items for traps or distractions
  • **Mission objectives** – in addition to kills, players must now complete secondary tasks (e.g., destroy evidence or collect intel)

Story & Lore[]

The player controls **Evan Thrace**, a disgruntled ex-employee of Apione Inc. After taking a dangerous drug called *Rhino*, Evan begins to hallucinate and adopts the persona of **Darius**, the original game's killer.

Across 14 party locations, Evan eliminates key players involved in the drug ring. His actions are framed through therapy and an in-universe true-crime show, blurring reality and memory.

As the game progresses, Evan uncovers Apione's corporate crimes and confronts his own mental breakdown. The ending hints that he may escape custody—or something far worse.

Episodes[]

Below are some episode names or level titles featured in the game (may vary slightly by version):

Reception[]

Fans and reviewers praised the expanded gameplay and narrative depth compared to the first game. While some criticized the voice acting or occasional bugs, Party Hard 2 was generally well-received for its creative kills and dark humor.

Trivia[]

  • The drug "Rhino" was originally just a placeholder name during early development.
  • Party Hard 2 features hidden alien characters and sci-fi references as part of a secret ending path.
  • Darius appears both as a hallucination and as an implied alternate persona of Evan.
