The game revolves around the player becoming a popular YouTuber. Players must gain subscribers and views in order to become popular. You can see how far you have come by checking the leader board.
Players must decorate their own rooms through leveling up, buying items from the in-game store and winning in-game currency (known as bux) and decrease delivery times from playing mini games. You can enter in competitions around a certain theme throughout the year, with the top 100 being shown. Players can also send friend requests to each other; by doing this, you can visit each other's rooms, like their rooms and share gifts.

For the first two episodes, Jack played from a second account of his that was in progress. In episode three, he decided to change to his first, more improved account, which is named as "JackSepticEye."
