PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, also abbreviated as PUBG, is an online multiplayer battle royale video game developed and published by PUBG Corporation and Bluehole.

In 2018, an identical game with the name of Fortnite was released and also became hugely popular worldwide.

Game information[]

In PUBG, one hundred players are parachuted onto a remote island and need to scavenge for firearms, ammunition, supplies and armour in order to fight and kill other players within the same server. When a player is killed, that person who killed them can loot them. A blue bubble develops called a 'safe zone' which players need to evade and enter another area of the map. Players can find and drive vehicles across the map to go to other areas.

The last player or team of players standing wins the round. The game allows either single, duo or four players to be on the same team.

Series background[]

Jacksepticeye started off playing the game with Robin, before continuing to play with Muyskerm for episodes 3, 4 and 13 and PewDiePie for four episodes. CinnamonToastKen and BradWOTO joined him and Felix for episodes 11 and 12, whilst Jack, Markiplier, Muyskerm and LordMinion777 played in episodes 10, 14 and 15.

The series has since been discontinued for reasons unknown.

PUBG and Fortnite share similar gameplay elements:
- The 'safe zone' in PUBG is called a 'storm' in Fortnite.
The sixteen episode was previously titled 'Our FANS Try To Kill Us In PUBG Zombies'.
