Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is a survival horror video game developed and published by Capcom.
In February 2017, its first DLC was released, titled Resident Evil 7: Banned Footage. In April 2021, an eighth sequel was released titled Resident Evil Village.

The game follows a man named Ethan as he explores an abandoned house and derelict area in search of his missing wife, Zoe. The area is occupied by a family consisting of a mother, father and their son Lucas, who, infected by a virus called "The Mold" go mad and acquire zombie-like features, such as being nearly impossible to kill, and certain degrees of cannibalism, though if this is in any way related is not revealed. Ethan is tasked to find Zoe, defeat enemies (including bosses) and escape the area by daylight.
