Seamus was Jacksepticeye's first pet fox in his Minecraft series. His first appearance was in episode nine I Defended A Village From A RAID In Minecraft.

Seamus was found swimming near a forest when Jack noticed him whilst searching for buried treasure. He decided to try and kidnap him by coercing him with meat. After managing to secure him and successfully looting the treasure (Heart of the Sea), he arrived back at the Irish Castle.

On arrival, Jack attempted to tame Seamus by feeding him sweet berries; however this backfired when he kept scampering. Jack decided to give the fox his own room, only to have Seamus get caught in the stairs through a bug.

In episode eleven, Why Does This Keep HAPPENING To Me In Minecraft, Seamus despawned after ten days while Jack was remodeling his castle. People had informed him that he should give each individual pet their own name tag to prevent them from despawning. He immediately gave Sam a name tag afterward. He also would state that Seamus ran away and started a family which may be where Seamus Jr comes from.

In episode twenty one, The CRAZIEST Rescue Mission Ever In Minecraft, Jack sets out to retrieve his parrots, which he had lost in the prior episode. While heading out, he noticed a family of foxes in the forest. Immediately recognizing Seamus, he vowed to return once he got his parrots back. After that, he went back to reclaim Seamus as his own. After a futile attempt to wrangle him by force, he settled to having him making a baby with another fox and taking said baby back to Ireland, where he was dubbed 'Seamus Jr.'

After moving him into the Irish Castle, Jack tried to bring Seamus Jr. up to his father's original room upstairs using a lead, but in doing so, the lead lifted the fox off of the ground, and when Jack went back down to try to fix it, Seamus Jr. descended quickly and hit the ground too hard, killing him instantly. After paying his respects by building a grave for Seamus Jr., Jack returned to the forest and made a second baby fox, whom he brought home and dubbed 'Seamus Jr. Jr.'.

Trivia

• In episode thirteen, I Built The Most Irish Castle I Could In Minecraft, viewers informed Jack that if he mates two foxes they could make a fox cub. Unfortunately, Seamus despawned. Sam succeeded in doing so with a female wolf instead.
• Seamus Jr. and Seamus Jr. Jr., two foxes brought to the Irish Castle in episode twenty one, are regarded by Jack as being the first Seamus' sons, despite not being biologically so.
• Jack has never said that Seamus died saying he ran away and started a family and had Seamus Jr and that Seamus is out there watching.
