The Overnight Watch is a cancelled game based on the I.R.I.S project. It was set to be an observation duty, anomaly detection horror game developed by Kyle Horwood and published by Jacksepticeye.
The game was teased in October 2024.[1] On March 28, 2025, It was cancelled due to the game itself being poorly planned out along with Jack and Kyle just not having a clear vision on what the game should be.[2]
Description[]
"Welcome Subject/Employee to 'The Overnight Watch'. This experiment/exam will take a total of 5 business days to complete. Your objective during this experiment/exam is to watch the cameras and report anything that you find out of the ordinary.
Each day you will be pushed even further by watching more rooms and having to keep an eye on the Power Containment Drive. Failure is NOT an option. Do you 'IRIS SUBJECT NUMBER' wish to apply to 'The Overnight Watch'?
Please note: IRIS will not take responsiblity for a subject's death during the test."
Gameplay[]
Each day, the player will be given random rooms to watch during their shift. Player has to keep an eye out for ALTRs and report them to get more information on them. Player has to Explore the prohibited ares to find secrets of IRIS.
